How about this...

You will probably have to order these parts since they don't sell a lot of high quality parts, just mostly junk.

ADVANCE AUTO, DISTRIBUTOR CAP p/n C193 from Borg Warner.

ADVANCE AUTO, ROTOR p/n D219Z from Borg Warner.

ADVANCE AUTO, CAP ADAPTER p/n C193AP from Borg Warner.

ADVANCE AUTO, PLUG WIRES p/n WR4050 from Motorcraft.
(stock Ignition Coil)

It's worth the 3 day wait for Borg Warner or MSD parts!
Their profit margin is higher on the 'Store Brand' stuff,
But I'm not concerned with their profit margin!
I want parts that will get me back home again...

Orilley Auto Parts has the BorgWarner w/Lifetime warranty. Says on web and reciept. Buy it there and you will never buy another, they will replace if it fails. You want the snap on cap, adapter, and match rotar. Ask for or do online.... a 1984 Ford F150 six cylinder.

There will non brass and brass terminal versions. You want brass. There will also be a adapter version YES and a screw version of the cap, we want the adapter/snap version cap only. YOu need the adapter for first time mount and then the BRASS TERMINAL CAP THAT SNAPS ONTO THE ADAPTER. The adapter does not come off after that.

THE SELECT BORG WARNER parts are their premium brass stuff and use better materials. You will see that in the name/desc. If you click on the desc they list the materials... brass, phosbronz. The only desc they miss was the counter weight tail that is what jeephammer told us can spin the air and cut down on ionized air from high voltage spark causing miss fires in cap... it a mix feature. I think I am correct??? both rotars look good.

Buy the good stuff and JeepHammers numbers are same as what I saw.
All "SELECT" version of BorgWarner Parts
c193a Select Adapter $10.49
C193 Select Brass Cap $32.99
D213 Select Rotar $8.49
D219 Select Rotar $5.69... has the counter balance tail to stir air

The lifetime warranty is worth 30% the cost of parts... Just go to Oriley Store or Get online. Its worth it.
