Forget an exact part number and look it up by application.

1988 Ford F150 w/300cu in six cylinder. Find one that has brass terminals.

Done.

Still another cap adapter part number. It's the cap that he's looking for.

Thord... Why advanced auto parts specifically?

I did find this one on their website.

Distributor Cap/Cap Kits by BWD - Part C238P - Advance Auto Parts___

Either that, just drop JeepHammer a PM and ask... or use the search tool.

BWD

Borg Warner.... good parts and lifetime warranty.
ORiley Auto carried them, had the best price when I looked and they had lifetime warranty.

Same as the guys said order by the application. Make sure the adapter and cap fit, brass terminals. all set.

no reason for advance other than that is what jeephammer had in his writeup. he used bluestreak so i was going to use the same. just want good parts, i try to do it right the first time so i dont have to do it again.

I know Jeephammer likes the MSD and the BorgWarner parts....
he likes the MSD best because they use this material, Rynite, for the plastic

Where did you see the blue streak parts listed.... I would like to take a look too?????
Thord, I thougt you were still there??? so I went and look... yea the blue streak is on his posting... cool been a bit since I looked at that.

You will like the change,

Fred
