I think what JH is getting at is you can run 33's with 3.31's, but 4.10's would be better that's all.

Well played sir. I have no idea apparently

I made a switch from 2.73's to 3.54's and the change is still very noticeable, however i think my jeep is still slightly under geared.

360, 4.02 First t-18, d20, d30 AMC20, with 3.54's on 32's but to each his own

Now with a Lunch Box style locker in the front am I going to have an issue when it comes to steering?

nope, shouldnt have an impact. I dont notice any difference at least not any more than before the locker was put in and I used 4WD. Anytime you are in 4WD it will be a little harder to steer, but the locker wont add any issues.

If I put a lock right in the amc 20. Would that cause major road drivability issues?
