Need a new Dash Pad...

I am currently installing a front cage into my CJ5 and since I have a non-vented window dash pad, I am told I will need to replace it with one that is made for jeeps with hard doors and crank windows so it will allow for the bar to come down the side of the windshield.

I have not been able to find a OEM or replacement dash that specifies this. I find some that say that they work with vented windows, but they appear to be the same as the other ones.

Does anybody have a link to one of the 'short' dash pads or even a part number?

I really appreciate the help. If I can't locate one, then I will have to cut up my stock one... anybody done that? (if so, how well did it come out and how did you seal up the cut end?)

Thx......

I have to say that I have never seen two different dash pads, but you never know what Jeep had for an option.
I had to remove my dash pad to install my front cage loop. I have seen some Jeep that had the ends off, then the pad recovered. I didn't install the defroster defectors either. So far so good, but it doesn't get that cold here in Southern Nevada.

I know that there are the two different dash options. I was scratching my head when I got my CJ7 and it had fly windows (crank windows) and they can't open b/c the dash is right there. I was then looking in the Quadratech catalog and saw the two different dash options.

That said.............................. I think it is just the overlay and not the full dash but if anyone knows where you can get them... I might have to step up once all the "other" stuff get finished.

This is for vent windows
Notice the end is relieved on the ends. The other pad is strait across to the ends.
