Need help with the Dana 300 Twin shifter!!

hey guys i just put it in and... on no! the shifter hits my ac unit... umm i tryed every pusision and it eather hits my AC or hits my T176 shifter or hits my sinter console.. do i need to custon drill it so that it is in the right place or what??

You might have to drill some extra holes to get it to not hit the dash or the center console. Mine was kind of a PIA to get it adjusted correctly. If I remember correctly, I had to drill some intermediate holes in the little connector links to make it work right.

thanks ill try that ... lol omg trying to fit it just right lol but how did you get them not to rubb?? like mine are really close togeter.
well if any more ppl know what to do or could tell me some more stuff about it that would be great
