need help!

So i have a 1968 jeep cj5 with a 225 dauntless v6 and it had a t14 tranny, had i say because i let a friend drive it and he put the damn thing strait from 1st to reverse so ive been searching for a replacement tranny but cant find a t14 for a good price, but wasnt sure if there might be another tranny that might have the same bolt pattern as the t14 so i wouldnt need to get another bellhousing? thanks riley

oh and forgot to mention he was trying to go to 2nd ...kaboom...
