need dana 300 input shaft gear

I'm rebuilding my dana 300 and my input shaft gear is heavily pitted on four of the gears. I need to replace it, so I was wondering if anyone has one they want to sell . I know I can get them new for 100.00 but I don't wont to spend that much.

My suggestion would be to find another Dana 300 on craigslists or somewhere like that. You can buy a good running case for $125 to $250 depending on location, etc and just to replace the input shaft is close to the costs.

85' CJ7 Laredo, 383 GM, Turbo 350, NP 203. SOA, 2" frame lift, 34" TSL swampers, Dana 30 open, AMC 20 w/ detroit locker, 4:10's, 1 Piece Mosers, 35" boggers to abuse when needed.

Looks like someone has one for you. Anyone who's put a 4:1 gear set in their D300 has a complete set of internals. There isn't much you can do with them, I know.

If you put in a 4:1 low range Low Max or other brand gear set in a D300, it replaces all of the internals of the transfer case. Any one, including me, who's done this should have any of the internal gears you would need. Can you post a picture of the part you need or a diagram with the part.

I might still have the stock gears from my D300 (after installing the Lomax kit) sitting in my shed somewhere... I need a pic to remember which gear is which... If I have what you need, just pay shipping and it's yours.

Here are some pics and a gear count. The gear has 26 teeth. There is only one other gear that resembles it. It's the out put shaft gear and the diffrence is that it does not have splines in the inside. If you guys have one i'll pay for shipping and something for your time. Thanks Mike
