Need comments.....

Check out my new brake line. Is this a bad run or will it work? No heavy wheeling...she is just a beach cruiser.

The other picture is a tube that comes down from my carb into the top of my engine. It corroded away and is not really connected right now. What is it? My jeep ran with it like this....

Thanks!

I would put it on the otherside. Your gas tank is going to hit it. Can't make out what the other one is.

i would rerun it, no offense to you if you ran it but it looks horrible and will probably vibrate and crack anyway run in tight to the frame and secure it to the frame.

Your body is probably going to be resting on it too. It will for sure when the body flexes on the frame. Run it the factory way. Brakes aren't something to cut corners on.

Sorry, bad angle

Hit the gas tank? Sorry, probably a bad angle and I have not drilled my rear mounts in the new crossmember we welded in. Here is a better view.

These were pre-cut lengths that were not really long enough. Will get some 3/16th's tomorrow and re-run. How should I run it????

From the factory the line runs inside the rear crossmember like you started to, but it goes over to the frame rail and then runs forward inside the frame rail. It basically follows the same path as the fuel lines.

Agree with previous posts, follow fuel routings (for the most part)...1" body lift makes for a little easier routing and tub clearance as well.

The way he drew in the red line is the correct way the brake lines originally follow except for the hole in the middle of the crossmember is where it is supposed to run through, but where you have it I wouldnt see a problem...

Which engine? If it's 258 the return line runs the same route, and the actual fuel sending line runs on passenger frame rail. If your going V8 they both run up the drivers side.

The metal tube going from carb into manifold is for drawing in heat I believe. from my understanding its to heat a coil that effects your fuel mixture (dont quote me). I sealed around mine with silicone becaue they just sit in the hole in the manifold. Not sure where youd get another. Hope I helped somewhat
