Narrowtrack rear axle with 2" spacers match up with a widetrack front axle?

Am I thinking this through correctly?

I'm trying to do a ghetto parts assembly on the uber cheap until I can do my build right.

I have a AMC20 and D44 rears, both narrowtrack.

I've found a widetrack D30 front in good shape for $50 local. (I sold mine a while ago )

So, if I check the gearing and find I have a match between one of my rears and his front, can I get 2" spacers for the rear and get the width close between the two?

Thanks.

Blair

Should be the same. I think a narrow is 50.5" and a wide is 54.5" on the rear. It will till be shorter than the front which is 57", but that is the way they came stock.
