My T5 pops out if first when decellerating (is that a word?)

I put a T5 with super low mileage in my Jeep when I rebuilt it 15yrs ago and it works great but if I accelerate in 1st and abruptly let of the gas it pops out of gear.

My solution is to not do it and it has served me well for all these years but I am curious why and if it can be fixed.

Any ideas?

What shape are you motor and transmission mounts in?
Could it be your shift boot?
Could also be the 1st gear synchro/balking ring.

Tranny motor mounts all new after rebuild.

Never thought about the boot but it feels internal. If I hold thrpe shifter it stays in gear but I can feel it fighting back...

I don't feel loke pulling the tranny at this point and will live with it but I am curious what it might be
