My jeep project

I am starting this thread to show my project. I will be posting more here as the project unfolds, but as I had to go out to my brother's house today I figured I would get a couple shots of before the project starts.

Is anything in that mess salvageable? That's even worse than mine was.

I can salvage the drivetrain, frame (minor repairs needed) and the hood. I have another body I have to go look at that is suposed to be decent

should be a easy one - some primer and a light wet sanding - looks like all it needs

Good luck. You've got more patience and skill than I've got. I'd love to watch this thread.

yeah I gotta admit it looks bad but as soon as snow melts and my brother can get his sh*t out of it I can drag her home ... this may be one of those times when free is too much to spend but I like the challenge

Wow, and I thought I had a lot of work ahead of me. It took my friend, my brother, and I all day long to simply sand, grind, and prime the hood and tailgate and install new tailgate hinges, wiper blades, and rearview mirrors. I thought we would have the front fenders and engine bay sanded down as well and primed, but that will be another weekend. Any "simple" project on this thing has turned into an all-day and night affair...

Anyways, good luck. You have a LOT of work ahead of you, but it will be fun...
