my rear driveshaft is just 21 5/8" long i would like to change it to a dana 300 case later on get a little longer shaft


86 cj7 496 powered 465/205 ton axles 38.5 boggers

Heck, mine is only 13.5" long

'76 CJ5
434 pump gas SBC with an NX/HVH plate system
th350/Coan 5,000 converter/Dana 300 tcase
Dana 30 front with 4.56's/Dana 44 rear with 4.88's

Great video that thing is a monster. I want my build to be close to what you have there. I got a long way to go!

i ran across this pic its not a cj but it is one of the trucks i built years ago. 96 cummins on 42's it was the first lifted cummins in this erea. in 96 they said i couldnt go that high.

nope it does look close in the pic, it really doesnt give a good idea of how tall it was. i had a buddy that was 5'10" he could stand under the mirror with his cap on. im 5'8" i couldnt see over the door to see inside

Yep, gloves and a coat, and you're good! Last year we had to wear coats/gloves/hats so we could go to the dunes on the last day for some racing.
