Well took the bad boy deep in the woods and hills did great. About ten miles from the house the fuel pump died!!!! At least it didnt do it deep in the woods.

Tell me about it...That's what I've been doing too. My poor CJ thinks I forgot about it. I walk by it every day, once on my way out to my truck, once again on my way back in the door. Paychecks sure look nice, but I've got no time for anything else but sleep.

LOL Yeah, no kidding! Just browsed through the pages I missed since I last looked at this thread...wow, nice progress! I can't get the vid to play that you've got of it running, though...I'll have to try again later I guess.

Nice vids there!

I commented on the exhaust thread, but what cam is that? Sounds like a pretty chunky solid cam. I'd love to know the specs on the motor. I'll have to back up through your thread to see whats going on in there.

Its a 496 stroker 4340 crank and rods 10:25.1 j&e pistons big oval port heads worked with a 300 306 roller and roller rockers with a holly dominator intake and topped with a 950 hp

I did that on mine. It's worth the stretch, but unless you want to run degree shims, you have too be careful how long your shackles are, and build some height out of your spring hangers in the front. It will probably lift the front near a couple inches when you do the reversal. Good luck!
