Ha, I don't know how to fix it...sorry. It posted the right way on my ipad when you replied. At any rate, I'm about to put the tub back on this weekend. Any good lessons learned out there? My only worry is my wiring harness. It doesn't look to good. Other than that, it should be pretty straight forward. I finally found the brackets for the alternator and power steering pump. It's amazing how much people want for them. They're very simple, so I'm thinking about having the local machine shop make me several sets and sell them for about half of what they go for on eBay. Would anyone be interested? I think I could have the alternator bracket made for about $40, which means I could sell them for a reasonable price...plus shipping.

Has anyone seen a good thread on the final hook ups (wires, hoses, brake lines, etc)? I'll be at that point this weekend, and I'm trying to make sure I have everything. Basically, I'm looking for everything from body install to initial start up.

Nope, post #21 is still upside down. That's just odd. Technology can be strange at times.
Can't help you with the final hookups as I'm not to that point yet. I'm just putting my engine back in this weekend.... hopefully. But I do have "before teardown" pics that may be able to help with something specific. I keep checking this thread.

I just went through all the final assembly within the last 3 months on mine. Check out my build thread. I may be able to help with some things.....

Getting ready for the final assembly this weekend! I ordered all of the hoses, electronics, , factory style components from Rockauto.com. The shipping was ridiculously fast! I ordered my body mounts from Rusty's Off Road. Also, a new radiator, fan, and coolant reservoir from Morris 4x4. And finally, I went with a new wiring harness from Centech, as the PO cut everything off of the old one. Centech called this morning and made me feel stupid. The tech new more about what I needed than I did ( not really surprising), but he made d^mn sure I'm getting the right stuff. Oh, and my drive shafts are ready to be picked up. We're going to be working at a fast pace on Saturday, but I'll try to remember to stop and take pictures. My only real concerns at this point are:

1. getting the Edelbrock intake set up right with the Holley Street Avenger carb and all of the vacuum lines and fittings (anyone got any good pics?)
2. do I have everything I need
3. do the existing components work
4. Did I build the motor correctly (just second guessing myself)
5. Will i get hammered during this whole process (more than likely)

The Centech wiring harness arrived today at 10 AM. It looks like its going to be a pretty straight forward install.
