My 1983 Jeep Rebuild

Back in college I had an 83 CJ7. Ran it all around and had such a fun time with it. As time went on I decided that a pickup would be more functional so the jeep went off into the sunset.

Now that I settled down and started a family, the wife and I agreed that a Jeep would be a fun set of wheel to get. We began our search for a jeep cj. We found this website and that led us to our 83 CJ7.

Purchase price was $1800 and it was too good to pass up. The body needs little work and some new paint. The frame was solid and rot free. Apparently the jeep had undergone some restoration a few years ago since the frame was solid and has a good coat of bedliner on it.

The goal of the rebuild is to get it safe to drive for me and my family. Get all of the components working again (wiring issues), and making it reliable to drive on a daily basis.

So feel free to ad any input or thoughts to help me
out.

Maybe its just me, but all of those pictures are broken links...?

**edit** Now I see them, looks like a nice project. Don't think I've seen an engine painted yellow before
