Is my 1978 CJ Blue interior considered rare?

Just wondering if an original interior was worth any money or desirable in the first place.

Opinions?

To some. I have heard that the Levi interior is coveted by some.

If the original interior is in good shape, yes it is desirable. I know I'd give about anything for a good condition dash pad in nutmeg and I have a buddy that would love factory nutmeg seats.

I'm sure there are plenty of people looking for the blue interior as well.

Rare is relative. Rarity also doesn't necessarily equate to value.

Just wondering, cause it turns out ive got that interior complete with the rare levis buttons. =) Pretty excited about that.

Here's a link to the dash pad on eBay, its going pretty well so far. I probably would have kept it around to sell as a complete set, but oh well. Ive had a couple people asking already about coming to pick up the rest of it.

Thanks for your opinions!

I've got a "rare" set of Levi's buckets and back seat with the "rare" buttons and a "rare" Levi dash pad all growing mold under my deck. When they get to be worth their weight in gold I guess I'll have to dig them out and find a sucker to buy them.

If the blue Levi is worth its weight in gold, I wonder what the tan denim Levi option is worth? I have a back seat in the tan version that must be worth its weight in platinum.

I'd love to see a photo of that. I don't think I've ever seen that interior before.

Mine is buried under a pile of junk and I'm not going to dig it out just for a photo, but here's one from the interwebs. A simple google image search of Jeep Levi interior will show you plenty of examples.

Pathkiller is right, rare IS relative. I can find Levi denim, in either blue or tan. What I can't find is the black Wellington vinyl I need.

My seats have Levi Strauss buttons on them, is that the seats you are talking about?

I am not going to use the original seats. I may sell them if someone is interested in them. the rear seat is in great shape, the front ones have Besttop covers on them. So I am not sure how good/bad they are, I haven't really looked at them that close yet.

Pathkiller I am sure your seats don't look like those because if you did yes you could get a ton of money for them but someone like you would rather let them rot under your house then help others!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No idea why you're trying to pick a fight with me over my seats. If I want to let them rot that's my prerogative. Don't like it? I don't care.
