Finished spare tire carrier mock-up. Took it back off and got one side of the tub sanded.

After the break...

Finally have some progress to report. I was burned out at the end of November after almost a year of continuous work so I took a few months off. (crappy iPhone photos)

Today, I finished tub prep, spot primer and 1st coat of OD done!

Tomorrow 2nd coat...to be continued

Hoo-Boy... do I ever understand the burnout phase! Good job getting remotivated, Scooter. It's like fishing... the best time to go is when you can go! So work on the Jeep when you feel like it. The paint is coming along nicely. Need to see some side views for perspective. Keep going, Man.

OK, now I am the end stages. everything from the firewall back is mostly done. Now onto front clip, wiring and engine starting. I hope to be done by the end of April so I can sell. It has been a fun project but I am ready for my next one...a teardrop trailer of my own design for my retirement wander around the lower 48. Pulled by my '98 TJ that I purchased new in December '97

Everybody here has been a great help, except for you guys that love the twin stick! lol

I am signing off of JEEPFORUM now. Good luck to all!
