I ordered mine from a dealer in Jersey- Wyckoff Chrysler. I paid 1699.95 for the kit and 159.95 for the balancer last March. But it looks like they raised the price a little bit.

It is the thing that is on the end of the crank that the crank pulley bolts to - it is a two-piece counterweight that is rubber mounted and absorbs and smooths out the engine vibrations - all engines have these.
In the case of the Mopar kit, a new one is required that the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) uses to send info to the computer.
