model 20 limited "slips" :(

is there any solution to the model 20 rear ends that will prolong the life of the limited slip(factory), is there a better replacement that will allow me to use the same axle shafts and carrier or am i going to have to purchase new internals to switch.

You will have to buy a new carrier. The cheapest route is to buy a empty "open" carrier and than put a lock right or mini-spool in it.

Power Trax makes a locker that replaces the clutch limited slip with a "lunchbox type" locker, and uses the same carrier. I have one sitting right here on my desk, waiting for me to put it in.
