Made a couple trips to the parts store and got some work done today.

Got all the fuel and vacuum lines installed. I have one open port still which I am going to use for a engine bay installed vacuum gauge that I am going to mount on a fender.

I also got plug wires installed. I am about 50% done on my straighting out / organizing of them so no pictures of that yet.

My goal is to get the fenders wet sanded and buffed tomorrow after lunch. Then around 5:30 a friend is stopping by to help me installed and align the fenders and hood.

Still have to get my fender braces cleaned up and painted. The only "big" project left after that will be to go through the wiring harness. Its in good shape just going to replace all the plastic conduit and I am sure there will be some wires to lengthen / shorten. A few other small things like the lights, painting and installing the radiator and hoses, tranny & tcase fluid. I am sure there are a few other small things.. So close but so much more to do!

and yes I have gone plastic tie crazy..

Sanding and buffing done. Two little spots on one fender where I must have been a little aggressive and can see primer. Really happy with them!

My back is killing after that. Might wait till tomorrow to install it all...

Agreed, Bill! I'm going outside to do the same thi.....oh, wait, mine has been left at a shop...

MoC- I had to catch up on your thread. BEAUTIFUL. And I feel your pain on the fenders and general fitment of those parts. I struggled with the Crown passenger side, and had to return the first one they sent as well. After that, it took me a while to "massage" everything in place.

The engine looks phenomenal. Can't wait to see it all buttoned up and running.

OK, I know you have probably said is somewhere before, but what color is that? Is it a metal flake color?

Starting to second guess my thoughts of Loden Green....
