Back seat is definitely a YJ seat. Front ones may be as well.

I currently own two to many of them. If you are interested in buying a running one let me know. I am in Shreveport, only 5ish hours or so from you.

Say it aint so. The fronts match the blue visors and door panels so I was thinking they were original. Anyone else ever seen a set like this in a CJ?

Nice find MoC. Haven't had a chance to read through of all 64 pages of this thread yet, but the last two pages sure are entertaining! Congrats

I am not 100%, but they look a lot like the YJ seats that were in mine. Someone will probably know for sure....

As it turns out LT1 tells me that the front seats are 1980 only high back denim blue option seats. 1980 was the only year for the Levi blue high back with the purse stripes.

Moving along have been busting my tale and am on day 3 of my planned 4 day weekend. Got the patio finished off yesterday. It took a whole lot of time and its been a few weekends of back breaking work. Once I got 1/3 of the large square portion in I realized I was going to be short on brick. I had more damaged ones that I though. Had to buy 300 new mod bricks from Acme. They are much darker than the others but the contrast worked out well. The down side was that I had to pull out around 140 old bricks out the 1/3 that I alreadty had down and install the new ones in thier place so that the would all blend. All brick is in and polymeric sand down and watered in. Done deal.

The f150 got some as well. New windshield, new set of tires (p275 goodyears), an alignment and put a 2.5 inch leveling kit on the front.

The rear fence got demo'ed today and the new post set.

Going to take it easy tomorrow. Cut the grass and then enjoy the AC. It's been HOT. Also driving 3 hours round trip to pick up a oxy acetylene torch with bottles.

Tired!

It's my fence that runs behind the new portion of the shop. It has been leaning really bad since before I built the addition. I cut out the leaning section between the first two level poles on either side. Its about a 30 feet section, but I was able to save about 18 feet on one side and 10 one the other. Going to reuse the old fence boards so it matches up. I also have to take down another 50 foot section the runs front to back on my lot between my house back yard and my neighbors back yard on the left. It is leaning as well. About a year ago she moved in and put up a new cedar fence around her whole backyard. She also put a run up the otherside of my fence so it would all match. When she did she left a 2 foot gap between the two fences. Going to take mine down and gain 2 more feet of back yard. I "might" run the old fence boards from it down the back side of her fence so I don't have to see the backside.

I have been looking for a cheap torch for a few months. I have 2 friends with them but don't want to ask them to come over and cut something anymore.

The 80 CJ5 I got a few months back is mostly going to the metal scrape yard. The frame and body are both done but i am keeping the axles so I wanted a torch just to make quick work to chopping it all up.

Ughhh... I had the misfortune of having my wife read this post (she was standing behind me, reading over my shoulder), and now there is a future involving pavers! Looks very good MoC

The place looks great, MoC! As much as we all "hate" maintaining and upgrading our real estate property, I think that we REALLY hate it because we think of how much further along we would be on our Jeeps!

In the end, though, we really know that it has to be done, and are pleased with our efforts....plus, it keeps us from sleeping in the dog house...

Here are my purdy new tires and the leveling kit. Guess a wash and wax is in my future as well.

Thanks for the patio comments guys, well worth it in the end. Jenn already has a patio set bought for me to unload this am.
