Oh yeah, got it home and my wife said something that almost gave me a stroke.... "so when are you going to build me a jeep?". Heavenly day.

Mannn... I forgot to call you back! That's great, MoC. Someone on here was looking for 151 just a couple weeks ago.

Have not decided if it is parts or going back together yet. Try explaining a 3rd. There is another 80 cj5 that I have yet to find time to take apart in the shop currently. This was just to good to pass up and to close not to look at.

Rusting on the drivers floor is from a mc leak. It even has all its drain plugs. Steering wheel is going in my jeep. Has a dual battery tray that will one day make it in to my jeep as well. 4 good flares. I am in parts heaven. Cant wait till after work tomorrow so I can dig through the boxs and piles...

Nice score, MoC! I think that this qualifies you to be considered as a Jeep "enthusiast".

On the fence Scott. Really need to spend a little time going through everything I got with it and spend some time under and around it.

Seeing this is the 4th one in 7 months their might be other "labels" some would apply. Wonder if my neighbors think I am running a chop shop.

Nice score!

If you decide to part it out and arent keeping the windshield hinges let me know, my PO painted over mine and they bent pretty badly the one time I lowered the windshield... Scared to do it again until I have new (OEM) ones to replace it with.

Pulled everything out today and went through my boxes. Got everything from the cigarette lighter to a nice metal console, new flares. Has some rust but fixable. Half of me wants to put this girl back on the road and the other half keeps reminding me that I can make the same amount parting it out as painting, tires, bushings, etc and selling. Also think it would make a good ride for the wife but for half the cost fix restoring it I could find here a nice $3000 jeep that does not need as much work. Think my plans are going to be get her in the shop and see how it runs. Engine wiring harness is still in place so I should be able to plug the dash harness in and see what happens. Either way still have a patio to finish, a fence to fix, and another 80 to take apart, and a 360 to put in before I make any finial plans...

It also is making itself at home and dripping tcase fluid and the drive. Here is what's under the seat covers. I have not seen the front seat pattern like that before. Common?
