Looking good, made some progress on the Jeep, also went backwards again, (steer gear came out again, in put shaft seal leak)

Looks great! Is it full of parts yet? Don't burn it down.

Customer: Excuse me Mr. MoC. Do you have a XX Jeep Part?"
MoC: "Let me go in back and check my inventory!"

That's really cool, MoC. Your shop is coming along very well. Wish I lived closer...

Get the brick work done so that you can work on the Jeep.

I have to go back to the kitchen next week, but got some stuff done this weekend on the Jeep. Will post later.

Well just updating with some more non jeep related stuff..

Last weekend wifey worked so I was home with kiddos both sat and sun so not much done. I did manage to take the old patio up. This weekend got the 5 yards of dirt I had piled up next to the house from when I dug out the shop slab gone. Also layed out, dug out, and removed the dirt from the new patio area. I was lucky to have a friend who needed all the dirt for his yard so I dropped it all off with him. Then to finish up the weekend I got 2.5 yards of sb2 in the hole as well.

Still have to layout and dig the 21 foot x 4 foot walkway from the back door patio out, bring in somewhere around 2.5 yards more of sb2, tamp it all down, lay the fabric, then around 1.5 yards of sand and I will ready to start installing pavers.... I now hate shovels..

Its a sub base, actually stands for sub base #2. Its used a lot for road base around here. $60 a yard which is cheaper than crushed granite. Not exactly sure whats in it, but it looks like some limestone and clay with bits of other stuff. You have to run a plate compactor over it and it gets pretty darn hard after that. When I pick up my next load from the gravel / rock / sod / multch etc place I will ask exactly whats in it and where it comes from.

Nice work, MoC! I can sympathize with you. Home ownership is a great thing, but there's always something that's gotta be done that takes away from Jeepin' time...

I've been going through some of that myself.
