Looks like a decent CJ, if it came with a pretty owner, with or without a lapdog, I am interested

Well busy day today. Pulled the chrome rockers, sway bar, rear seat and all the body mount bolts. Three spun, . Pulled the axles as well. Had a guy come buy this afternoon and buy them for $400. 3.54's with traclock, he needed them bad. Now it will sit and I am going to get back to the buisness of rebuilding my shop.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

I need the headlight knob & I think it doesn't come off the shaft.

Good score on the axle sale, that helps

Spent a little time last night and this morning trying to see if I could bring the 304 in the 79 back to life. Charged a spare battery, replaced the + & - battery cables, topped off the oil, ran the fuel pump line to a 5 gallon bucket, and reinstalled the old plug wires. Found all but 1 fuse missing and replaced it. It now has some working lights, blower motor, and wiper motor. Not getting power to the starter side of the solenoid when the ignition goes to start. Replaced the solenoid with a spare and still nothing. It started to rain pretty hard so I had to come in. Going to jump the solenoid next and see if it turns over. Hoping to get it running and sell it, come see it run in the jeep before it is pulled type of thing.

On the 360 in the plow jeep, the float was empty after repeated dumping of gas down the carb. I was using a full 5 gallon can. Fuel pump is bad. Bought a cheap electric one, hot wired to the battery. Fired right up.

Raining here also.

How did you find that out MoC? Pull the plugs and put a breaker bar on it? Shoot some Blaster down the cylinders and see if you can free it up... or not. My old F-head was locked up tighter'n a bull's a$$ in fly season! Hate it for you.

No biggie Scott, its just the engine in the last jeep I bought. Was hoping it would run and I could sell it whole but still has plenty of parts and brackets on it to sell.

I put a socket on the crank pulley with a 6 foot breaker bar. Only got it to more a inch or so back and forth.

Welcome back buddy, hope the trip was GREAT!

Still have 8 - 10 little lighted trees to put out, wrap the 2 front tree trunks, net lights on the bushes on the left side that you cant see from the angle, and lights on the handrails.

Power company loves me
