I wouldn't hit NWA at rush hour! Lived there for 10 years. It's a small town that got big quick, so little town roads with too dang many people!

If you stay in the area stay in Fayetteville and hit Dickson Street. Good little college town with lots of local flavor.

Hoping to avoid traffic. Shooting to get there before lunch and do a quick turn around and head right back home. I love "local flavor" but ill be fighting the clock the whole way so the gas station will be my only other stop.

Made it home with my junk a few hours ago. Took longer to load then I was planing, talked to the guy about jeeps longer than I planed, after about 15 min of driving on the way home I had to pull over and spend 30 min re strapping the engines to the trailer. I was not happy with how they were strapped. Because of those set backs I caught 4o clock and rush hour traffic through Fayeteville and Fort Smith. There was also way too much road construction and i found myself creeping between 15mph and 35mph through this while rush hour was kicking...

Going to get it all unloaded tomorrow. Pictures to come...

I do not think there is a stretch of road anywhere that is not under construction.

On a trip like that, you have to just accept the setbacks, and relax. At least you made it home, safe and sound. That's the main thing.

OK, now...let's go with the pictures!! ...

Ok.. Ok.. Ok.. That all takes time now that you cant iphone them instantly now. Still have the engines on the trailer but got everything out the truck and neatly stacked so I can go through it.

The engines are a 76 304 and a 86 258. Both are complete from mount to manifold.
