Others do not, but it is super easy to install one. You have to look at the bottoms of the carbs to make sure they have the cut out at the bottom of each barrel.

(disregard the red line)
The yellow circles show the cut outs. Some 2100s don't have these.
The green arrow is a factory manifold vac source (going to dizzy on Clay's Jeep).
The orange circle is the nipple I installed for PCV.

Let me know if you want more info.

Since you are installing on a 360, I assume you are not using a Mr. Gasket 1937 adapter plate??
Correct that adapter is only for installing one on a 258 manifold. The 2150 was stock on the 360 so no adapter needed, just the 3 factory OEM gaskets / insulators.

Roger. It was bugging me. Thanks for clearing me up.

Have you held both carbs up together and looked at the bottoms? I know I'm beating a dead horse...

Sure have. BTW you can tell the differance between the Ford 2100 and the AMC 2100 by the bases. The Fords have a 1/2 moon shape on the back side and the AMC's are square.

Also in your picture... The green is a manifold vac source however it was not factory for the dizzy vac advance. The factory advance was ported not manifold. The green on that carb was origanlly a manifold vac source for the choke pull off. The one in the top of your picture on the "disk" was one of the choke tube connections, the capped on with a black plug on the side by the choke was ported for the canister purge, and the one by the mixture screews was the ported for the dizzy. The little hole below the two yellow circles that is recessed in the Pocket area is where the power valve pulls its manifold vac through. Some of the newer 2150's, dont remember the year break, dont have that little hole but have a nipple on the cover that has to be connected to a manifold vac source.

Let me know if you want more info

BTW, Just messing with you Scotty!

Forgot one... The little hole at the top right in the pocket goes to the choke.

All this talk about 2-bbl Motorcraft carbs is moot, anyway.

MoC will find a smokin' deal on a nice aluminum 4-bbl intake, and that 40 lb. cast iron POS, with the MC2150, will be history the next day.

No 4-bbl plans at the moment. I thought about going with a Elderbrock intake and carb in the early stages of planning the swap but decided just to stick with stock. After all its just a jeep and for the $ I really don't need anymore performance than I already have.

On the other hand if I hadn't been cheap and gone 4-bbl I would be running now...

Does anyone have any more information on installing a vac port on the base of the carb for a PVC on the motorcraft. Mine currently doesn't have one and I would like to install one.

I believe 2 members here did this. Skerr and Ken4444. It's the orange circle in the picture.

Basically they drilled and tapped the base of the carb. Use a NPT tap. (National Pipe Thread) for the size of the brass nipple.

The PCV just needs a constant manifold vac source. It doesn't need to originate at the carb base.

The easiest thing to do on a stock 258 manifold is to screw a nipple into one of the intake runners.

The #6 intake runner is a good spot.

There is also an adapter plate the goes under the carb between it and the manifold with a PVC connection. The older amc v'8s used one before they moved it to the carb itself. Don't know where to get one but eBay may be a starting point.
