It's funny, we go all summer with not a drop of rain and when I need it not to rain it does!! Made some more progress between rain drops today. Should get a full day in tomorrow if the wetness holds out.

I think you should put this window in your front wall to let light into your new addition.

I'm great at advice when I do not have to do the work!

That's a window that came out a warehouse in New Orleans. Here is a matching one that I sanded down and put mirrors in when I was 24ish.

I was going to but a window on the front wall but decided against it so that people could not see in my shop and scope out stuff to steal.

Dad- "Well son, what do you want to do when you grow up?"

MoC- "Gee Dad, I want to sand down old windows and make 'em purdy again!"

Dad- "Are you kidding? What will you do with the windows?"

MoC- "Ida know... keep 'em."

Dad- "For crying out loud, Son... why you wanna keep old windows?"

MoC- "To have!"

No, it was my first attempt at being an entrepreneur. Louisiana Antique Window Mirrors. I made and sold around 60 of them total. I was in 2 interior design shops in Baton Rouge and one in New Orleans. I did them in all shapes and sizes. That one was actually one of two that I did for a lady as a custon order to stick in her media room in a high end house she was building. Sold them both for $3000, and had one extra. I was young and after a few years I realized I could never make enough to quit my real job so I just kind of moved on. Still have 3 hanging in my house and I keep a stack of the more unique sashes I had left over when I quit.

Too funny Bill!

Hey Moc looks like you've got a plan for future termites with that treated wood. I like seeing things being built. Nice work.

Got one of the end upper end walls build today, more of the old roof cut back, and most of the rafters in. Hoping tomorrow to get the other end wall built up, rest of the rafters up (5), ceiling blocked through the center and around the outside, and some decking up. Back to 30% chance of rain tomorrow so might be dodging rain drops.
