I got Goosebumps Baby!! Now that you're in the game you can hold off the enemy while we continue to fix ours! Just... need... a... little... more... time!

Thanks guys! Put a few more miles on her sunday. If the weather plays nice tomorrow morning I am going to do some more work. I was tunning yesterday and noticed a spark plug wire moving. Shut her down and checked and sure enough 3 out of 6 were loose enough to turn by hand. Then the rain came. Anyway got me thinking that since she sat for 3 months of very cold weather that before I start her back up again would not be a bad idea to check and made sure everything is still nice and tight. Planning on checking valve cover and exhaust & intake bolts. Also since I have put a few miles on I am going to recheck oil pan, tranny, tcase etc and make sure it is all nice and tight. After than planning on putting my shocks back on and installing my new speedo cable. I still have the tunnel cover and shifter boots to install but have run in to a little problem that I need to address first. When I sprayed the underside with primer I did not seal the tunnel and some specks ended up in the interior floor. Soooo going to wait on putting the tunnel cover back on till I clean the interior floors and repaint over it. I painted all my interior tub back in june so its all pretty fresh still. Just going to paint the tunnel and floor pans black again.

Pictures?? I dont post a whole lot of pictures Dave you must have me confused with Scott.

So this is all from last weekend. Inspection cover, shifters, starter, clutch linkage, and rear drive shaft installed. Spent some time getting the clutch free play dialed in as well.

Did not work today as long as I was planing ended up doing some driving instead. This morning installed the shocks, greased the rear drive shaft and bellcrank. Also checked and tightened bolts on valve cover, intake exhaust manifold, ubolts, ujoints, tranny, tcase, bellhouse, header to pipe conenctions, and starter.

I took her out for a 30 minute leg stretching today and she was happy the whole time. Spend about 8 minutes running 70 mph. Other my temp climbing from 190 to 200 as it always does going over 60ish all was well. As soon as I slowed down it went right back to 190.

So a little more about the oil leak I was talking about after my first drive. It has not gotten worse and does not actually drip on the ground. After my 30 drive this was all that was present. Part of the reason I wanted to hit 70 was to see it if would get worst and it did not.

Planing on pulling the inspection cover and looking inside but with it not dripping and only leaving this much I am almost thinking about letting it ride. Cant see pulling the oil pan again for this little amount. Based on what you see would you guys pull the pan or roll with it?

No worries, it can only get worse.

Seriously though, I'd take the inspection cover off and figure out where it's coming from before it gets too dirty. That way when It does get worse, you know where it started.

Well it has to be either the RMS or the oil pan, both were replaced. I feel real good about the RMS job but when the 1 pc oil pan gasket and pan went up I had a feeling the gasket did not seat properly in the groove. If it is pooling in the bellhouse I am going to attach it fun sure.
