Wow. Glad to hear all are ok. Happy Birthday to your son. Hopefully you're getting him started right by giving him a Jeep part so he can start building his own.

My heart goes out to you.

I had a similar experience several winters ago, my wife was coming home with both kids in the car, a young man drifted across a two lane road (55MPH) hit my wife's car in about the same spot. I Got a call from the police that I should come to the hospital. All turn out well.

I know from past messages you know what is important in life, but moments like these reconfirms them.

Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, and texts everyone. It was a good weekend with the family. Jenns still hurting. She had a tree fall on her about 13 years ago that fractured a vertebrae in her back as well as many other bad things . She has been fine since recovery from the tree accident, but the fear is that the wreck might have caused the old healed back injury to resurface. I have a past neighbor / friend who is a personal injury lawyer who is going to help us through all this. Thanks again for the support everyone.

Now just look, dangit! Stay in your own state!

Seriously, where you finding this stuff. I scour craigslist and miss all the good stuff.

Still need that widetrac AMC20 with 3.31's for your TOLL.

I kid. I went to TN to snag an engine yesterday. I can't throw stones when I'm doing the same thing.

Where you headed in Arkansas (general area)? I'm about an hour SW of Memphis.

You know we all have dreams of turning our hobbies in to what we professional do. I put thought in to it a while ago and decided the only business model that would really work would included being in a very large market and it would also include working all jeeps. I am in a small market and really have no desire to mechanic on other peoples jeeps let alone anything thats not pre YJ. I have been self employed for the last 10 years and I am happy with what I do. The parts thing is really just a distraction, but it does bring in money specifically for my jeeps and I enjoy the adventures so its worth it. I also enjoy jeeps and dont want to take that away by actually turning it in to work.

The jeep fairy's lead me to it all! Actually just find it on craigslist. I will be heading to north west Arkansas Friday. It will be the furthest I have traveled for stuff. I look at it this way.. When its all said and done I will have less total time invested since its just a bunch of parts vs. a shorter drive and having to actually take apart a jeep.

I wouldn't hit NWA at rush hour! Lived there for 10 years. It's a small town that got big quick, so little town roads with too dang many people!

If you stay in the area stay in Fayetteville and hit Dickson Street. Good little college town with lots of local flavor.

Hoping to avoid traffic. Shooting to get there before lunch and do a quick turn around and head right back home. I love "local flavor" but ill be fighting the clock the whole way so the gas station will be my only other stop.
