Missing Warn lock out Dana 30 Wide track.

I'm just looking for opinions.

Stolen or Not Stolen?

I used my Warn lock-out on 1983 CJ 7 wide track Dana 30 about a month ago. Everything worked just fine and I didn't notice anything loose.

Now all 5 bolts and it's cover is completely gone?????

Could it have loosened up that much fallen off and I never heard it or felt it?

Or was it stolen?

It's driving me crazy and I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else.

Thanks

They fall off....it's definitely not unheard of. Look in the bolt holes, I'd bet you find at least one with a broken off bolt (although that's not always the case. The first time I lost one it was sheared bolts, the second time it was loose bolts.

The advertised position for a topless, dirty jeep girl has been filled......by my wife. Thanks to all that applied.

That's the why, most folk use studs and nuts
Get yourownself a set of Mile-Marker hubs, and never look back.

Thanks guys.

I picked up a jeep standard cover on Craigslist and they are interchangeable with the Warn standard and the only difference is the mechanism that you hand turn. The Warn turns about 9/10ths to engage and the old jeep one goes most of the way around.

I will have to buy a new set, but this will get me by until I feel like spending $200.

Make sure it's not a 6 hole mounting.
MM don't cost $200.00.

You can find'em cheaper too.

Contact warn, im sure they'd sell replacements so you dont have to buy a whole new kit. Throw some loctite on the next set maybe?

I've had my cj for 10 years now and mine have never fell off. Then again I regularly grease my wheel bearings. Get some locktite.

I've had them loosen, but not fall off. It does happen though. Get studs with loctite, and use nuts to hold the hub on the studs.
