Which Melling Oil Pump

been thinking about putting a high vol. oil pump in my 85 258. Read some threads about folks buying one for a 4.0 and using the oil pickup from their 4.2 so that's what i was looking to do, but danged if i can find a Melling Oil pump w/o the pickup tube. All i can find is model M167-HVS which has a pickup included. I've seen models M81 and M81A without the pickup but they seem to be standard volume pumps. I've looked at O'Reilly's, Autozone, Amazon and Summit and they all seem to have the same models available.
When i did a search on this forum i ran across a post from early last year where a guy bought a 4.0 HV pump and a 4.2 pickup from O'Reillys, but there were no part #'s listed and O'Reilly's doesn't show a pump by itself, at least that i can find. The O'Reilly's pump/pickup (M167-HVS) is $86 and change, the cheapest i saw. Anyone have a link for the pump only (4.0) and maybe pickup only (4.2)

Just swap the pickup tube from the 4.2 pump into the 4.0 pump.

I think that was me...

I bought the Melling HV pump #M167VHS and the "screen-oil pickup" #81-AS3 from O'Riley Auto Parts, they were both in stock. Went online, 10pm, selected parts and store, picked parts up next morning. Couldn't get any easier.

The pump is for the 4.0, and the pickup is for the 4.2

I did not use the 4.0 pickup that came with the #M167VHS pump.

skizriz, i knew about changing the pickups, just wasn't sure if there was a 4.0 pump w/o the pickup.
