MC2100 Rejet

I need to her my MC2100 as the Venturi is too big on it. It is currently a 1.23" and I need a 1.08" for my I6. What size jet do I need?

The venturi size is cast into the carb. It cannot be swapped out with a different size.

I think you'll end up chasing your tail by trying to compensate with different jets. Someone please correct me, if I'm wrong.

You'd be better off getting the appropriate 1.08 carb.

i've seen posts where the jets were swapped out. just get the 1.08's for your carb and do it. http://www.carburetor-parts.com/Auto...Jet_p_175.html

Yep, you need a 1.08 carb. The venturi size and jet size are not the same thing. You need a 1.08 and probably somewhere around 46-48 jets depending on your elevation. The 1.08 carbs came on 6 cylinders and small V8's (mine on my green Jeep was off of a 289 equipped mustang).

The 1.21's came on 351's and other larger V8's. You can put small jets in there to try to compensate for the larger venturi, but it won't every really be able to be properly tuned. Best bet is to find a 1.08 carb and sell the one you have.
