M.O.R.E. steering box mount

Ordered MORE's mount for my already converted power steering 76 cj7.
M.O.R.E.'s site says moves box 1 1/4 in fwd. Quadra Tec's catalogue
does not mention this.
Will it still work with stock steering wheel shaft and bell coupler ?

Thanks

There should be 2 models, one for oem mounting location and one for the location you state 1 1/4 forward.

I bought the one that moves the steer box 1.250" fwd. I tried to melt the plastic out so I could extend the stock shaft, but gave up after a while. In my readings about it I found a few people that reported they were able to do it. I said forget this and bought a boregeson shaft.

If it's the mount that moves your box fwd you will have to notch the xmbr. I was a little concerned about cracking after doing that, but none formed yet after many frame twisting trail runs.

But if you are not moving the front axle fwd, then there's no need for the mount that moves the box fwd.

Ok thanks you guys. Going to call and cancel and reorder the Rigged Ridge.
Think I like the design better anyway.
