lowering t-case

I have a 75 cj5 with a 4 inch spring lift.
I was thinking I should lower the d20 t-case about an inch or so.
Will this effect the linkage? What else?

75 cj5 , 51 m38

Are you lowering it because you are experiencing driveline vibrations?

If so, dropping it 1" won't affect the linkage.
If you have a 1" or more body lift and you drop the t-case 1", you may have to cut a little bit around the shifter holes in the tub so you can get it into gear. Not a problem if you have a straight shifter.
I used to own two CJ's...Perhaps a 3rd is in the future?
