Looking for opinions on camo wrapped Jeep (pics)

I'm considering using camo wraps to "paint" my '76 CJ7. I have a glass tub, hood and fenders. I would like to replace everything with new glass, but don't want to spend the cash to do it at this time. And I don't want to spend the cash it would take to have it prepped and painted if I'm going to eventually replace it anyway.

So, I found a place in Texas that I can buy the CJ kit for less than $400 and do it myself or have them intall for $25/hour.

From the $$ perspective it seems like a no brainer.

Opinions? Comments?

Here are some pics that are very close to what I would like to do:

Honestly I would consider a wrap but I would never consider doing it myself I have seen it done it is hard to get right. basically 25/hr even if it takes an 8hr day thats 200 plus the 400 thats 600 you couldn't get a decent paint job for that except for maybe maaco. I don't know if all are the same but the local maaco here is poor quality at best

Shreveport - 10 minutes from Texas, 30 from Arkansas.

Have spent Lots-O-Time in Arkansas: Hamburg, Portland, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Eureka Springs, Booneville, Jasper, Heber Springs, etc, etc....

Yep, $25/hr I thought was very reasonable.

Looks good.

That looks just like my cousins Jeep, it could be his I guess. Fill us in on the folks that sell it for $400 if you want to.

Is your cousins name Kirk? In Georgia? That's the who and where of the Jeep in the pics.

The Camo Wrap dealer I'm buying from is:

Clark Customs Paint & Body, Ore City, TX

Ph: (903) 968-6564

They don't have a website, but you can go to camowraps.com and look at the available patterns and look for a dealer/installer near you.

The Jeep kit normally sales for $450. It was on sale at Clark's until 12/31/07 (I think). I'm getting it at the sale price of $380 something since I inquired about it during the sale.

I'm driving up there tomorrow to see the camo wrap in the flesh. I'll check and see if they will do a group deal if anybody is interested.

I saw a CJ for sale which had it done (with a different camo background). It looked decent. The owner did it himself and said that it was not hard at all. Basically like putting on tint (which does take a touch of experience to do a good job). Smooth out all the air bubble type of type of thing. Then have it clear coated.
