Looking for CJ7 sliding seat bracket

The passenger seat bracket in my CJ is a riser bracket. Doesn't leave much leg room and makes the seatbelt super tight for most folks. Anyone have one of the sliding seat brackets laying around that I could snag cheap?

You would need to get the seat riser bracket for a YJ Jeep as they are setup in height for the sliders. CJ's did not have them on the passenger side and if you add sliders to them, the seat will sit higher than the drivers side.

I must not understand what I need. Right now the driver's side seat is lower and on a slider. The passenger seat is higher and on a riser (makes the seat rise up and forward but not able to slide back & forth). I want the passenger seat to be like the driver's seat. Lower and slide back and forth. So what should I be looking for?

That is strange, both of the factory seats in my 86CJ slide and tip forward. I did break the paddle handle off the pass seat riser and replaced it with one from a early wrangler and it had a slider but I don't remember it setting any lower but was a direct bolt in. I have power seats in it now from a Ford explorer or I would go look.

My pass. seat didn't come from the factory with a slider. Though I have one that I plan to use on it. Keith, what are we talking in hgt. difference, 3/4"? I can deal with that. Won't be too noticeable to the untrained eye.

It's at least that. I'd guess 1" -- 1 &1/4".

I'd like to change out my old cj seats any instructions?

The seat risers from my 84 both tilt forward. The drivers riser is about 1 1/4" shorter than the passenger riser. The seats and the sliders are long gone, but if I recall correctly, only the drivers side had a slider. Here are the risers.

That's correct, only the drivers side had a slider for late model CJ's
