Lockout spring search

Searching for lockout hub parts- Is there a vendor that sells parts for stock lockouts on a '82 Scrambler with the Dana 30 axle? The PO, or whoever, did not put the spring back in when it was last serviced. All I can find is the complete assembly when all I really need is the spring! The spring for the driver side is there and the passenger side is MIA. This is slowing my resto down to a crawl. Thanks for any info anyone can provide!

i really dont think parts are available, most people i know just replace them when they fail or in your case, are missing parts.

any d30 out of any cj from 82-86 will be the same as yours. you could get the hubs for a pre 82 and switch to 6 bolt hubs (stronger)

heres a link of different aftermarket ones http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-hubs/locking-cj5-cj7-cj8.htm

i personally would go with the superwinch, as they are only 1/4 turn to engage/disengage

I have some spare parts.....There are two springs in each lockout. Which one do you need, the thicker one inside the shell/dial or the thinner one by the base/sliding ring?

only in a jeep cj-I was premature in diagnosing the number of missing springs. I get alot of exercise by jumping to conclusions. After further disassembly, I find that I need one thicker spring and 2 thinner springs. I'll PM you to discuss price and shipping arrangements. Thanks for your answer to my inquiry
