Lift question and opions

I have an 80 cj7 with a small block chevy in it. I recently installed a 4" rough country lift and a 1" daystar body lift. I want to replace the stock shackles with greasable heavy duty shackles. I am torn between 2 decisions. which brand and how much lift.
I am looking at daystar and warrior. 1/2" lift or 1 1/2" lift shackles. I am running 35" goodyear MT/R's. Any thoughts suggestions or product reviews would be great. Jeep is mainly street driven but hope to get it dirty real soon........

all i can say is that the 1 1/2 lift shackles are going to look real goofy. i would personally stick with the 1/2 or try to find the ones with no lift. if the 35s fit great and no extra clearance is needed then don't worry about the lifted ones. I got a question for you, i am planning on installing a 4 inch lift and have a 2inch body lift and polyurethane body mounts for my 77 CJ7. what size tire do you think i could fit under it? maybe 38's or more like 37's? thanks

I wold say 37's might fit, if you can find a 37" tall tire. I know goodyear just came out with a 37" MT/R. I have 1" less lift than you and I have 35's and don't think I would try to run a bigger tire. I think it will also depend on the tire width and rim. mine are 35 x 12.50.

well i figure if you can fit 35 X 12.50 with 4in and 1body and i will get the 4in and have 2body with poly mounts which give a 1/2 or so then hopefully i will be able to fit 37s but thanks for the help.
