I have the heavy duty suspension package on my cj7 and one thing that I haven't been able to find about lift kits is if they are heavy duty or regular. I'm wondering if I get the complete height of the lift or if I get only an inch due to the heavy duty suspension already being on it. If I can get an answer for this it would be great.

I would guess it depend on the Brand/Quality of the lift. I have a Black Diamond 3" lifi and I got about 3.5" but I sure it will settle some with some haevier use.

Yep they all will settle some. My re 4.5" lift got me closer to 5.5-6" but did settle down about an inch. I have a hard top, 20 gallon tank and a 35" spare too. So that helped bring her butt down

I would recommend calling Quadratec.com or 4wd.com and speak with one of their advisor's, I have found them both very helpful in the past.
Let us know what you find out.

If you know what tire size you want to run let the guys on this forum know and I am sure they can recommend a lift kit that will clear them. I am running a RE 4.5 with 33s and they clear with no problem i believe 35s would clear with little or no rubbing. Just my 2 cents!!!

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm really enjoying the knowledge from everyone here. I'm planning on running 33's with a 4"-4.5" haven't decided what lift to go with yet. Really leaning towards that RE 4.5" lift. Pricey but I know if you lift do it right and buy quality.
