Got a bellhousing, T-15, Dana 20, both driveshafts, Dana 30 w/warn locks, and a set of 4 wagon wheels for... 340 bucks.

A few years ago when I had to move from Houston to St Louis with my job (in a hurry) I pretty much gave a 1963 CJ away, with adapters to put a buick V6 in, the rebuilt V6, a rebuilt t-90, rebuilt dana 18, and title for the frame, with an engine stand and an engine hoist.... all for 600 bucks

I figure the good deals I come across now are just karma.

400 for this warn M8000 and bumper combo.
I just need to find or build a control panel.
I forget the bumper brand but it sells new for 350'ish alone so methinks I got a good deal.

Nice. I used 12voltguy.com and was super pleased with the winch control kit and wiring.

have bought sold and traded for a couple years on CL, and WOW have I met some Odd people, good and bad. Any ways I'd framed off re '7 about 05 the only thing I didn't do was rebuild the 360, ran great so I wanted to drive, about 2 years about the engine went out, I was in one of those odd places and traded it: started a CL spell, traded it for a motorcycle, traded that for RV(not my best Idea, wife wanted it) sold it on CL, bought my wife VW convertible on there, she liked it so much she bought a new one, sold it on Thaded that for cj7, didn't like it, trade it for Suzuki Sami and RM250, traded the Sami for 96 F150, then traded both for 600 polaris 4 wheeler, traded it for 96 dodge ext. cab 4x4, sold it for $1000 over book, then bought The 85 Cj7 I have now, All of this on Craigslist (and not counting parts and little things here and ther) Jeep had a lot of good features but engine blew first night, rebuilt and still only have $3500 into it, I feel pretty good, started with a jeep and ended with one.

Don't remember what part of Fla, But the guy stated it had all the bolts, nuts, washers, etc. I was stoked because I just sold my regular Tuffy and thought I found the stereo Tuffy I want for my rebuild. Oh well, I will keep searching as I don't want to drop $250 on a new one...

Anybody need a T-18. Found this on CL. This is the FORD tranny that doesn't have to have the short shaft kit installed, like the FSJ models. I have 1, but I'd be willing to put it on a pallet for a member who needs/wants one. I Do NOT know the owner, so I can't speak to condition. My 1st instinct was to buy it for $100 and hoard it for myself. PM me if I can help anybody facilitate the purchase it.

One of my favorite steals is pre-craigslist, heck I think it might have been pre-internet.....I knew a local guy who parted out Jeeps in his yard. I called him up looking for a replacement SR4 trans for my CJ. Mine was stuck in gear and I needed a direct replacement since it was my daily driver. I took a ride over to his place prepared to buy an SR4. He went to look for it in his garage and sitting there at the garage door was a T-18 / Dana 20 combo with the bell housing and driveshafts still bolted up. I walked away with the whole set up for $350. Took it home and put it all in the Jeep the next day and drove it to work. Didnt even change the oil. Still using the trans to this day. Its never been rebuilt but I have changed the oil since then.
