Lets see some ugly CJs!
Now I know some of us don't think our Jeeps as being the most prettiest things on the road. If you think your CJ is butt ugly but you love it anyways and wouldn't trade it for anything, this post is for you then! Just something to have fun with, btw muddy CJ pictures are welcome too!

How can you even say that is ugly? Some people might not like the camo paint but beyond that your jeep looks GREAT!
I'll see if I can get some pics of mine when I first got it. 180k miles of Michigan winters do wonders to Jeeps |

I know it isn't ugly, put the paint job was to me. I saw past it. It is no longer camo and people are shocked it is the same jeep. There is almost no rust and it runs good. I know the entire CJ is not ugly, just the camo.

The day I brought it home.
![]() And then a few pictures of the tear down that show the real condition of the Jeep. Most of the exterior was covered with 20ga sheetmetal the PO screwed over the missing body panels. You can see where I peeled back some of the sheetmetal on the back corner of the tub. Wasn't much original sheetmetal left anywhere. ![]() They then proceeded to use expanding foam in all of the rust holes. Its been an interesting build that is for sure haha ![]() Last edited by JimNut; 10-12-2009 at 11:30 PM.. |

When I bought mine.. I guess it could be worse.. but there was a LOT of rust hiding under that paint.
