Leaf springs for a 79 cj5

Hey y'all,
I going to sound stupid but I need help/advice. I own a 79 cj-5. I have been trying to replace the blushing on all of the leaf springs, but they are not moving and I have given up. So, I figure just replace the whole things.
The advice I need is:
1) how do I figure how much of a lift I have on there now, so I can get the something? I have 4 leaf on each one of them and it is sitting on 33 in tires.
2) What kind of leaf springs should I get and how many inch do I need to go? I like the high the way it is and not really looking to change in less I have to.
Thanks
John

I don't know the easy answer to your question. Most companies that sell lifts should be able to with a phone call. Just tell them you want to clear 33's with a spring under or over depending what set-up you have.

Stock springs with 33's and no other lift is tight. Post a picture of the springs. Show the underside of the leaf pack & type of clips holding the pack together. Then someons should be able to pickup on what you have.
