All things being equal, 5 springs with less arch can equal 4 springs at a slightly more arch if the overall spring rating comes out the same....and will give the same ride height. There are more factory options when it comes to late CJ springs than people realize. Engine size, CJ type, hard top, and then theres soft, standard, and heavy duty for each. There are numbers on the bottom that will tell what you have, then see if the new ones are rated the same or will provide lift or a harsh / soft ride. These aftermarket companies are making some stuff that is junk and I would be hesitant on just replacing the front. I take it the old ones are sagging?
