He has posted the invoices. This thing has a 4.7l stroker engine upgrade and all sorts, it is not just the suspension he has blown all this cash on.

I bet it would drive very well off road and would be a credit to its owner.

The only problem is its is a less desirable TJ for Bowler money. If you want the ultimate offroader then for this kind of money you can get a purpose built machine that will do the Paris-Dakar straight off the showroom floor (plus water bottle holers of course).

Sadly you do not get your money back from upgrades, which I suppose is why so many people do them on the cheap with second hand parts and lots of sweat.

1974 JEEP 4X4 - OFF ROAD FUN
VIN decodes as a CJ7; however, has CJ5 type FIBERGLASS BODY.

The VIN they listed in the ad, J4F835TH86747, decodes to a 1974 304/3-spd CJ-5....if they don't know what they have, I'd definitely beware.

Did they REALLY have to have "4x4" on the fenders, seriously!? I like the stance and the dark red paint, but, not the silver painted flares!!

And it has WaaaaaaaaaaaaY too much to list, except of course a top or 4WD as those are clearly absent.

You must get a lot of nice days in Chicago to cruise round in this ......... this thing.

Yeah, that's the thing that always bothers me. If you're really serious about selling, it would be prudent to take the time to list most of the upgrades and changes. This isn't like selling an off-the shelf Wrangler.

Okay... Round 2!!

NOT an Ebay auction, but laughable to me. Here is a Beautiful, and slightly used, CJ5. Gorgeous black with lots of custom work. One of a only a few left in this kind of shape. For your viewing pleasure!!

Can you read this?

Not bad, eh?? It was raining while I was taking the pics, BTW...

Maybe no one will notice...

Not quite a match!

It's just a SMALL dent... normal, really!

This is normal too. ALL CJs get this.

Rare interior.

Big, BEEFY shackles for extra tire clearance, AND a custom tire carrier.

Weather is too nice for the top. Did I mention it is raining??

I guess he couldn't sell it in I O Way!

Only $6500!!

For me, it's the obvious lack of care for the Jeep, and what I consider cntempt for the buyer. The OP beat this Jeep up, calls it "one of a few", marks it up, and thinks he's gonna sell it to a sucker. And he probably will! Did you notice his list says "no Bondo"??

I think what he meant was, "No Bondo left in the can, because I used it all on the Jeep."
