I saw that on craigslist too. It's about 45 minutes from me. All I could do was laugh and wonder what would make someone do that to a Jeep.

I know this is WAY old, but did anybody else ever notice the heavy-duty leaves and coilovers?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...ht_1646wt_1165

reserve not yet met, and buy it now price of $40,000

"This Jeep was custom built over a period of 4 years. The vehicle has never been on the road or trail. I spared no expense when building it...$60,000 invested." Would be hard to test the nuances of your steering, wheels, shocks, etc without ever driving it....i mean look at the pictures...no expense spared but there is a hole in the seats...wtf

Remind me never to let this guy borrow a dime - $60K invested? In what?!? Oh - San Antonio, Texas? Carry on, then.

That's not laughable, dude, that's just sad. What a poor old 6 you have there, it needs some love, not to be laughed at!

No expense spared, except for the missing brake pedal pad, the wires hanging out from under the dash, the water pooled up in the tub, rusty master cylinder, hood latch coming loose, and probably several other problems.

That Jeep has some great features, but don't claim no expense was spared. Clearly some corners were cut.

"Condition: New: A vehicle is considered new if it is purchased directly from a new car franchise dealer and has not yet been registered and issued a title. New vehicles are covered by a manufacturer's new car warranty and are sold with a window sticker (also known as a “Monroney Sticker”) and a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin. These vehicles have been driven only for demonstration purposes and should be in excellent running condition with a pristine interior and exterior. See the seller's listing for full details. "

Yeah right......Where's the waranty, and what's up with the rusty hood, fenders, and the ripped seat. I've never seen a "new" vehicle like that before. Nothing Pristine about it.

This tool box has been on ebay for quite a few months and still it aint sold. I don't think this guy gets the hint that he needs to lower the price to a bit less than $1000

He did, it's $999.95! Seriously, he's had 28 offers on it that he's declined!
