Later model CJ 5 or 7 Body on a 74 CJ5 frame

Newbee here! Will a later model CJ 5 or Body work and or bolt directly onto a 74 CJ5 frame?

72-75 CJ5 bodies are the same. The bodies and frames changed in 1976. You could make most any body work (search this forum; Wrangler bodies seem to be recommended because they don't rust as much) depending on how creative you are.
Welcome!

the mounting points from frame to body are different. you would have to mod the mounting points on the frame to work with the body. i just looked at a guy who did what you're lookin to do.
