Laredo seat carpet?

Did all factory laredo seats come with a carpet patch on the lower seat side? If so, is it supposed to be on the inside or the outside? Thanks for the help. I have looked at tons of pictures and I have seen it both ways.

I have seen several photos where there was no carpet on the lower part of the seat. That must happen when they get recovered. So the carpet is supposed to be on the door side and not the female seat belt side?

I have an 85 CJ7 Laredo in remarkably original condition.
Correct. So it can be seen as it matches the door carpet. One would never notice if it were on the inside as the console is in the sight line.

Sorry. I'm sittin in the seat, but it will give you and idea. Bottom outer section and all of the top/rear with wrap around some on the sides. Also needs to have the two vert stripes in the centers of both bottom and back sections.

That usually happens when people replace them with a seat from the opposite side since the driver's seat always gets beat up and passenger seats don't.

That makes sense. I am in the process of restoring my Laredo and have only been able to find passenger front seats. I have found and purchased two front passenger seats and one back seat. I am going to have them re done and wanted to make sure of how they are supposed to look before I move forward.
