Just when I though customer service no longer existed in the USA...

I found two companies that have impressed me since buying my CJ. First one was Bestop, installed a new tigertop from them, and found a snap was missing from the top where it snaps to the top spreader bar. I called them to ask for a snap so I could put it on myself. They said, we don't do that, we're sending you a new top! Just like that. Then I bought a new Weber, the choke isn't working correctly, he said whats your address. I'm thinking here's starting a problem ticket, then he says, I'm sending you a new one out today. Neither asked for a credit number to pay and then recredit, just asked me to send the old stuff back. Never had that kind of customer service before. That and the people around here that are so helpful, well, Thanks!!

This is the type of story i love to hear, it's what makes buyers keep coming back, i feel that we have lost some of this customer service, glad to hear it's still alive.

I bought a full sport cage by Rock Hard and the rear support bar just would not fit. They sent me a new one that was 1" shorter and didn't even want the old one back. Also, I bought a Surefire flashlight with the 120 Lume bulb and that ($25) bulb burned out in 1 1/2 months. Same thing. The customer service guy asks me for my address and when that was done, he said "we'll get one out to you tomorrow". No receipt, no proof, no cc, just plain old good trusting customer service.

Bestop & Aussie

Just to give Bestop another shout; I have a Supertop that was two years old (a year past the warrany). The stitching came apart at the windshield frame. I sent them pictures and a week later I recieved a brand spankin' new top (minus harware & windows of course). I couldn't have been happier with there customer service. Another great story: Bill Cole, president of Aussie lockers, significantly discounted a new Aussie locker for me to replace the one that I installed improperly ---it happens--- He said he just wants the old one back to make sure there are no suspect Aussie lockers in the market place that may fail. These are two companies that can expect my business in the future.
