Junkyard MPI swap

I have been reading tidbits of information about the possibility of compiling a junkyard MPI system. Does anyone know of any websites that show this being done? How about a list of necessary parts? I've heard it is based on a 1994 Wrangler 4.0, but I'm not sure about that. I've got a pretty good junkyard here with lots of 4.0's, so I think this may be an option. I just need the info...
