Here is the DS we are going to use.

A long time ago I bought a 360/TF-999 w/this DS out of a CJ5 that was a DDriver, and the guy's dad owned a tranny shop. So my bet is that it will work.

We do have a few Cardon joints out of some J-10's but that might not work.

We have a drive-line shop here in town and we will take it to balance etc.

Also, w/Jr's cross member, it has two spacers on each side between the frame/cross member (factory), so if needed to make the DS straight in-line we can just add a spacer.

Stay tuned-Jim

Here is the plug to close the hole in the shifters other port.

I put some RTV on the threads then tightened it up but not to much. Then sealed the outside w/RTV.

Operated the shifter and no problems.

Jr and I are making some spacers to drop the cross member so the Tcase will work w/his '74 setup.

We used an old skyjacker Tcase drop bracket.

Cutting and drilling new holes etc.

Well the drivetrain is finished.

We had to cut the '74's tranny mount bracket so the Dana 300's yoke would not hit it.

Dana 300 installed and rear drive shaft ready.

For got to show the spacers we made and their location.

We were going to put a sleeve in the spacer where the bolt would go through the hole but we forgot. We used case hardened bolts and blue lock-tite.

Ya, me to-it should but we are open to suggestions.

A guy had this setup in his CJ5 (AMC 360/TF-999/Dana 300) and he tore it down to rebuild and couldn't finish cause .....

He use to drive it all over so we will see if it works out w/this drive shaft.

Question-is the tranny stabilizer mount (left) supposed to be tight or left a little loose ?

I can't remember.

Thanks,
Jim

Well we pulled the valve covers and intake off Jr's 360 to install a Edelbrock 4bbl intake and carb. Engine looks very clean for a 1985 w/140k on it.

My son installed headers and on the drivers side the fuel line is right under the header.

I do need to move it but is there a spring/heat dissipation) I can buy to slide over the fuel line ?

Reason I ask is when I bought a set from Inline-Tube for my build it had one on the fuel line.

You maybe able to see it on the frame rail. It also has a hump that went over the clutch linkage etc.

Thanks,
Jim

Go to the For Sale section and I think I put the:

T-18
D-20
Ramsey PTO & winch on there for sale. If not then that is what I have for sale, all factory original.
